Don graduated from Commerce at the University of Saskatchewan before beginning his career in insurance and investment planning with London Life. Subsequently he moved to Sanderson Securities and soon after obtained his Chartered Life Underwriters (CLU) designation and trading authorization. He joined the offices of Brian Mallard &amp;amp;amp;amp; Associates in 2001 and since then has spearheaded the development and growth of one of the most successful Employee Benefit firms in Northern Saskatchewan. Don has also been assisting individual clients in financial planning for over 20 years with a specialization in investment planning.
Jeremy graduated with honors in Political Studies from the University of Saskatchewan before beginning his studies for his MBA. Having completed his studies for the Canadian Investment Funds and Life License Qualification certifications, as well as obtaining the Certified Health Insurance Specialist designation, he is now obtaining his Certified Financial Planner and Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designations.
Kenzie Bergeron is the Business Development Manager focusing on market development for BMA Benefits. Kenzie provides Total Reward advisory services focusing on Group Benefits, Retirement Programs, Health & Wellness Programs, Disability Management and Performance and Recognition strategies. She is experienced with private and public sector groups that extend to both union and non-union environments. Prior to joining BMA Benefits in 2018, Kenzie has been in the Group Benefit and Pension Industry for over 10 years working for a national insurance carrier, consulting for a brokerage firm and managing Total Reward departments for the largest First Nations employer in Canada. Kenzie has obtained her Life License from the Insurance Councils of Saskatchewan and sits on Boards that focus on the development and advancement of infrastructure in Saskatoon. Lastly, she is an alumni of the College of Commerce with a double major in Management and Marketing.
Joseph Bristow is BMA’s Client Representative, focusing on daily operations which consists of meeting and helping plan administrators, signing up new employees and answering questions employees or business owners may have. Joseph attended the University of Saskatchewan specializing in management at the Edwards School of Busienss an has been working with BMA Benefits for over 2 years. He also has his Canadian Investment Funds and Life License from the Insurance Councils of Saskatchewan.
Kirstin graduated from the U of S College of Commerce with a degree in Finance. She then went on to work as an Employee Benefits Manager for one of the leading insurance companies in Group Benefits. In 2010 Kirstin & her family moved back to their home town of Swift Current SK where she is now an insurance advisior specializing in group benefits & pensions, individual life insurance, disability & critical illness.
Kirstin brings over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry primarily servicing our clients in south Saskatchewan.
Lori joined BMA Benefits in January 2018 as the Client Relationship Supervisor. She has over ten years of Group Benefit experience and has continued to advance to new roles with increasing oversight responsibility. In her current role she oversees the BMA service department to ensure the team meets our high service level standards. Lori has her Life License from the Insurance Councils of Saskatchewan. She is also currently completing her Group Benefits Associate designation this spring. Lori volunteers her time as a member on the Board of Directors for the Saskatchewan Region of the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute.
Rick has worked in the financial services industry since 1979, working as an advisor and Director of two of Canada’s leading providers of financial security services. He has been active in the sales and service of Group Benefits for decades and also has his Chartered Life Underwriters (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (Ch.F.C.) designations. Rick is active in the community serving charities such as the United Way and serves on several boards including SGI Canada and the PAOC Pension Fund, and has also served as President of Advocis.
Trevor has over 15 years of experience representing two of the country’s largest providers of Employee Benefits and Pensions, and as a Consultant with an International Consulting firm working with clients of various sizes and needs. Trevor is experienced in the design and management, contractual and funding techniques of both traditional, flexible benefit and group retirement solutions.
Trevor completed his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2002 and is a member of the Financial Planners Standards Council and an active member of Advocis, a nationally recognized association of Financial Planners.
